Ms. McGarrigle has focused the majority of her twenty-year career on the deployment of renewable energy technology in North America. She is a leader in climate change and renewable energy policy within the Canadian renewable energy community, ENGOs, policy makers, and consultants. Her significant experience in project development, business development and organizational strategic planning within the Renewable Energy sector has resulted in developments totalling over 1,100 MW. Ms. McGarrigle was formerly the head of Shell Canada's Wind Energy Department, and Director of Business Development for Suncor Energy's Alternative and Renewable Energy department. Prior to entering the Renewable Energy sector, she worked in the Oil, Gas, and Chemicals industries doing engineering, business and international consulting. Ms. McGarrigle’s academic background includes two undergraduate degrees from the University of Alberta, Canada; Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. Ms. McGarrigle also holds an MBA in Finance from Queen’s University, Canada.

Ms. Carpenter has eighteen years relevant experience in the energy industry overseeing the development, engineering and construction of alternative and conventional energy projects, nine years of which have been solely focused on wind generation projects. She has proven experience building and supervising high power teams; working on strategic initiatives at the executive level; overseeing project management, project development, and project risk mitigation for over 820MW of wind projects either constructed or currently under construction. Ms. Carpenter’s skills include project risk assessment, commercial agreement negotiation, technology procurement, planning, budgeting and project due diligence. She has significant experience in negotiation and administration of power purchase and equity/acquisition agreements; equipment purchase contracts; warranty and maintenance agreements; transportation contracts and engineering and construction agreements. Ms. Carpenter was formerly the VP of Construction and Engineering for First Wind (formerly UPC Wind) and Project Manager with SeaWest (now AES). Her academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering and a Masters of Science in Civil Engineering. Ms. Carpenter also holds a MBA in International Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management, USA.

Mr. Creasey has over thirty three years expertise in energy
regulation, environmental science, and stakeholder relations. Mr. Creasey is acknowledged as an expert witness in environmental science and regulatory
proceedings for Canadian provincial and federal tribunals, has participated in over twenty regulatory
hearings, and analyzed evidence for regulatory decisions pertaining to environmental matters. He has been awarded the Alberta Prairie Conservation Award and Alberta Emerald Award for
environmental leadership, and an Outstanding Service Award from the
International Association for Impact Assessment. Mr. Creasey is also recognized for expertise in principles and practice of impact assessment,
cumulative effects assessment and management, land use planning, wildlife
policy issues, biodiversity conservation and environmental management for
energy projects (conventional and unconventional oil & gas, oil sands, coal, wind,

Mr. Creasey was formerly the Manager of Environment & Ecosystem Management Department for Shell Canada and the Section Head for Environment Protection at the ERCB (now the Alberta Utilities Commission). Mr. Chunn has over twenty-nine years of progressive experience in the energy business, both on the upstream and downstream. He most recently led a professional team that was responsible for the successful delivery of tailored natural gas, power, and environmental solutions to its diverse North American client base. Over a dozen years he grew the business and client base in Canada and the U.S.A., helping clients to be successful with their portfolio of energy and environmental products. Mr. Chunn was instrumental in getting Shell set up to enter the retail power market in both Alberta and Ontario. Mr. Chunn has deep expertise in the business processes of energy trading, and he served as the key commercial contact for a comprehensive end to end business process redesign. Mr. Chunn was also the primary Trading representative on an executive-led Climate Change Network in Canada for a major oil and gas company, where he provided input to better coordinate activities within the organization. He has been involved at all stages of the development and completion of both voluntary and compliance carbon offset transactions over the past three years. Mr. Chunn’s other skills include business development, project management, commercial negotiations and contract negotiations. Mr. Chunn worked for Shell Energy North America, Shell Canada Limited and Shell U.K. and their affiliates, and served on the Boards of two companies. Mr. Chunn holds a Chemical Engineering degree, and is a member of APEGGA.

P. Vickers has over thirty years of experience and specializes in renewable energy/clean tech investment, carbon commodity contracting, project and entity valuations, due diligence, corporate sustainable development, emissions management and investment strategy. Mr. Vickers has worked on progressive assignments in downstream manufacturing, technical, plant operations management, plant business management, marketing, business development, research and Environment, Health and Safety Management at Shell Canada. Mr. Vickers was formerly the Director of Sustainable Development at TransAlta Corporation, Managing Director and Treasurer at Natsource Asset Management Corp. and Director of Consulting and Deals- Climate Change Practice at PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Mr.Vickers holds Bachelor and Masters of Engineering degrees from McGill University in Montreal and is a member of APPEGA.
Over the last 15 years, D. Conquergood has been lead developer of a number of landmark industry applications in the Oil & Gas industry, including Petro-FORM, WellView, StabView and the Daily Driller. Mr. Conquergood provides significant expertise in the area of database management and software design. His background in dealing with massive quantities of secure data is a natural fit for the SOLAS Wind Index (for Wind Farm Operations & Maintenance Benchmarking). Mr. Conquergood holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Queen's University, Canada.

With over 12 years of deal structuring and analytic modelling experience, L. Olien provides the quantitative analysis for energy market pricing, dispatch modelling, deal valuations, and energy trading among other areas. Mr. Olien specialty includes modelling and analytical support to understand renewable energy resource variability, grid integration, resource reliability and hedging renewable energy power output from renewable power sources. Mr. Olien holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics from McGill University, Canada and has six publications in peer-reviewed journals. Prior to consulting for Solas, Mr. Olien worked for Shell Energy North America in the deal-structuring group.

Mr. Torr has twelve years of project and management experience in Water,
Environment and Renewable Energy. His project experience includes all
stages of project delivery including project management, design,
construction, start-up, turnover and optimization. He has extensive
experience in all scales of project delivery from feasibility studies and
technical consulting to full EPCM engineering delivery. Mr. Torr was
formerly the Manager of Water for WorleyParsons Infrastructure and
Environment in Canada, where he was responsible for overall strategic
direction of the water and renewable energy businesses. He brings a risk
based triple bottom line approach to decision making through an integrated
understanding of water, waste and energy. His work in small scale renewable
energy in Canada has lead to the award of two prestigious Awards, the
APEGGA Summit Award for Environmental Excellence, and the Alberta E-Award
for Quality Enhancement in the Workplace. Mr. Torr is a professional
engineer with a Masters degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from
the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK.

S. Leduc brings to Solas over 20 years experience in corporate contracting, contract management, and procurement. Her extensive experience includes strategy development, execution planning and a proven track record for delivering effective solutions in highly complex environments. Ms. Leduc spent 8 years at Shell Canada and 12 years with Amoco/ BP Canada. She holds her Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) and Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) designations.

J. Clement is graduate of a Mechanical Engineering program and Physical/Mathematical Sciences from Université de Sherbrooke and Université de Montréal respectively. With a recent position with Genivar Consultants LP in Calgary, Alberta, Mr. Clement worked on a variety of analytical exercises related to the development of wind power generation. These exercises included mathematical analysis of meteorological data in addition to the development of custom software to aid in refining analytical tools. Additionally, Mr. Clement is active as a translator of technical documents between French and English. Mr. Clement is also an engineer-in-training with APEGGA.

R. Hart has over 37 years of experience and specializes in risk-based health, safety and environment management systems and waste management. Mr. Hart has worked on health, safety and environment assignments in all of Shell Canada's upstream and downstream businesses including major construction projects and as senior HSE consultant for Shell Global Solutions. He played a role in ISO 14001 registrations for 14 Shell businesses or facilities and with OHSAS 18001 registrations. He was the HSE Manager for Shell's Wild Steer Butte Wind Farm project. In addition to his internal role, Mr. Hart chaired the Canadian Petroleum Product Institute's Hazardous Waste Management Network, led the development of the Waste Facility Environmental Review process for the Western Canadian Auditing Roundtable, was a director of the Auditing Association of Canada and the founding Vice-Chair of the Alberta Occupational Safety Auditor's Association. He currently consults on risk management, HSE management systems and training and waste management.
